The Staff Platform Engineer will design, build, and maintain backend APIs and services for an AI-native platform serving marketing and creative teams. The role owns service boundaries, data models, API contracts, asynchronous event-driven systems, third-party integrations, and scalable data architecture, using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and React. It is a full-time, remote-first position based in Canada with significant Eastern Time overlap, offering $200,000-$250,000 CAD base plus equity, health benefits, and other perks.
