Intuitive is hiring a Staff Platform Software Engineer to act as a technical lead for a novel surgical robotic platform. The role leads software architecture, requirements gathering, prototyping, embedded and cross-platform software development, hardware-software interfaces, risk analysis, verification, and integration of custom PCAs and FPGA IP. It requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant technical field and 12 years of embedded-systems experience, or reduced experience with a master’s or PhD. The position emphasizes C++ or C, embedded real-time systems, communication protocols, concurrency, FPGA tools, and experience with regulated or mission-critical software.
