CesiumAstro is hiring a Staff Power Electronics Engineer to lead the development of power electronics hardware for satellite communication terminals and other space and airborne platforms. The role spans power architecture and trade studies, DC-DC and AC-DC converter design, circuit analysis, simulation, PCB layout, verification, integration, qualification, production release, and manufacturing support, while also mentoring engineers and leading a small team. Candidates need a BS or higher in Electrical Engineering and at least eight years of analog and power electronics experience, with extensive hands-on testing, simulation, reliability, EMC, thermal management, and standards-compliance experience.
