ServiceNow is hiring a Staff/Principal Front-End Architect to own the architecture, technical direction, roadmap, performance, and framework of its front-end platform used by employee experience teams. The role involves designing modular, reusable component systems, leading cross-team technical initiatives, resolving architectural conflicts, conducting architecture and code reviews, mentoring senior engineers, and setting guardrails for AI-assisted development. Candidates need 10+ years of software engineering experience, deep JavaScript and TypeScript expertise, advanced component-based framework knowledge, production performance experience, and a background as a Staff or Principal engineer or equivalent senior individual contributor.
