Extreme Networks is hiring a senior software engineer to lead machine learning and distributed-systems engineering across the software development lifecycle. The role involves designing and launching ML solutions, building high-scale microservices, developing real-time online inference with Triton and TensorRT, leading technical strategy and code reviews, mentoring engineers, and improving operational excellence. Candidates need a degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related discipline, 5–10 years of software development and Python experience, distributed-systems architecture experience, and engineering leadership experience. The role offers compensation up to USD 170,000–240,000 plus benefits.
