D-Wave is hiring a Staff Process Engineer in New Haven to develop and integrate fabrication processes for current- and next-generation quantum processor designs, moving them from R&D to low- to medium-volume production. The role involves process integration, SPC and in situ metrology, device-quality experiments, clean-room equipment operation and qualification, facility planning, and mentoring junior engineers. It requires at least five years of post-graduate semiconductor or related experience, an MS or PhD in a relevant field, and expertise in semiconductor fabrication technologies. The position is based in the D-Wave New Haven facility and Yale clean room facilities, with compensation of $127,000–$175,000 USD per year.
