Sila is hiring a Staff Process Engineer for its Technology team to design, commission, and start up critical units in first- and future industrial-scale battery-material plants. The role leads process design and control modifications, develops FEED deliverables, coordinates with R&D, manufacturing, operations, maintenance, and vendors, and drives production-line improvements. It requires a chemical or mechanical engineering degree, at least five years of relevant production or design-to-commissioning experience, process-scale-up expertise, and familiarity with controls, P&IDs, HAZOP, and risk management. The position involves substantial travel to a new production site and third-party design offices during startup, and offers a starting base pay of $151,000 to $191,000.
