Description
Debut is hiring a Staff Process Engineer, Downstream Processing (DSP) to lead the development and scale-up of purification processes for fermentation-derived small-molecule cosmetic active ingredients. The role covers bench, pilot, and manufacturing-scale process development; downstream unit operations; laboratory maintenance; CDMO and CMO technology transfer; vendor evaluation; equipment procurement; and collaboration with quality, regulatory, supply chain, upstream, and strain engineering teams. The position requires a PhD, master’s degree, or bachelor’s degree with the corresponding years of experience, approximately 20% travel, and exposure to biohazardous agents and chemicals.
