Description

Grafana Labs is hiring a fully remote Staff Product Manager for OpenTelemetry Experience in Spain. The role owns the end-to-end customer journey from workload instrumentation through healthy, actionable telemetry in Grafana Cloud, spanning SDKs, automatic instrumentation, OpenTelemetry Collectors, coding-agent workflows, troubleshooting, validation, and downstream observability solutions. It is a horizontal staff-level product leadership position requiring cross-functional influence across engineering and product teams, strong OpenTelemetry and technically complex B2B product expertise, customer research and product analytics, and product marketing collaboration. The Spain base compensation range is EUR 106,680–128,016 annually, with RSUs.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of Product Management experience in developer tools, observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or another technically complex B2B product domain.
Experience leading strategy and execution across multiple engineering teams or product areas through influence rather than direct authority.
Strong working knowledge of OpenTelemetry, SDK instrumentation, OTLP, Collector pipelines, telemetry context, and semantic conventions.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with OpenTelemetry or the broader open-source observability ecosystem.
Experience with automatic instrumentation, eBPF, or runtime-based instrumentation.
Background as an SRE, platform engineer, developer, or observability practitioner.
Experience building product-led onboarding, configuration validation, or telemetry health experiences at scale.
Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder-influence skills in a globally distributed organization.
