Description

Tarana Wireless is hiring an Automation Lead Engineer to expand, enhance, and maintain its test code infrastructure across product lines. The role leads product QA automation, tools development, AI-based test dashboards, Jenkins/GitLab pipelines, Selenium/Playwright UI frameworks, and Python unit-testing backend scripts, while also reviewing test plans, strategizing automation projects, and communicating status to stakeholders. The position requires a computer science or related degree, 8–12 years of QA automation experience with Python or Java on complex embedded telecom or cloud-based SaaS products, and expertise in testing frameworks, version control, API and UI testing, networking tools, and Unix/Linux environments.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline
Required Previous Experiences: 8–12 years of QA automation experience using Python or Java on complex embedded telecom products or microservices-based SaaS products deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
Experience in functional and system-level API testing and frontend UI testing
Experience with Selenium or Playwright for UI automation
Experience in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with networking tools such as IPerf, Xena, TRex, IXIA, and VIAVI JDSU, plus networking knowledge
