Description
Infleqtion is hiring a Staff Quantum Sensor Physicist to translate customer needs into practical architectures and devices for deployable atom-based inertial and gravitational sensors. The role leads or supports research and development across atom interferometry, cold-atom systems, laser and vacuum systems, controls, and quantum sensing; develops physics models, simulations, error budgets, and trade studies; and collaborates with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, vacuum, laser, and controls engineering teams through deployment. The position requires a relevant PhD, practical experience with atom-based sensors or related AMO hardware, and the ability to work with complex hardware and software systems. It offers an annualized salary of $166,000 to $256,000 plus incentive eligibility and comprehensive benefits.
