Fivetran is hiring a Staff R&D Software Engineer for its AI team to research retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI techniques, prototype and ship production software, define technical direction across teams, build backend and frontend systems, advance AISQL, support SRE and QA, mentor engineers, and contribute to hiring. The role requires 8+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, SQL and data-warehouse experience, full-stack versatility, and the ability to work across research, development, reliability, and quality assurance. It is a full-time hybrid position based in Denver, Colorado, with a Denver pay range of $183,711 to $229,638.75 USD and employer-paid medical insurance.
