Fivetran is hiring a Staff R&D Software Engineer for its AI team to research retrieval, reasoning, and agentic AI techniques, prototype and ship production software, define technical direction across teams, build backend and frontend systems, advance AISQL, support SRE and QA, mentor engineers, and contribute to hiring. The role requires 8+ years of programming experience across Python and/or Java, SQL and data-warehouse experience, full-stack capability, and familiarity with AI/ML tools; it is a full-time hybrid position based in New York, New York, with a target compensation range of $196,033 to $245,041.50 USD.
