Saildrone is hiring a Quality Engineer to support the reliability and quality of its autonomous unmanned surface vehicles and production supply base. The role monitors field performance, defines reliability KPIs, performs Weibull and other reliability analysis, leads field triage and MRB meetings, conducts root-cause analysis and CAPA investigations, and partners with service, remanufacturing, and other engineering and operations teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, 5 to 8+ years of hardware-centric quality engineering experience, and familiarity with reliability methodologies and statistical tools. It is based in Alameda, California, requires travel of 20%, and offers a base salary of $160,000 to $188,000 USD plus medical, dental, vision, equity, retirement, and other benefits.
