Sigma Design is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer for a contract-to-hire, fully in-office position at a defense technology company in Costa Mesa, California. The role leads reliability engineering across product development, manufacturing, production, and field deployment; develops reliability processes and standards; performs FMEA/FMECA, fault tree, predictive reliability, Weibull, and qualification testing analyses; leads failure investigations and CAPA; and provides technical leadership. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline, at least 12 years of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and a post-offer background verification, with compensation of $92.00–$122.00 per hour.
