Description
Tenable is hiring a Staff Research Engineer to lead the daily exposure intelligence production cycle, sourcing and triaging threats, assessing zero-days and CVEs, writing briefs and external digests, and producing deeper threat assessments, actor profiles, and analytical content. The role also contributes to classification standards, AI-assisted workflows, stakeholder intelligence requests, and strategic priorities. Candidates need at least seven years of cybersecurity experience with depth in vulnerability research, threat intelligence, security operations, or exposure/risk management, along with strong analytical writing, judgment under uncertainty, and familiarity with the vulnerability lifecycle and threat actors. The position is hybrid and offers a US base pay range of $137,500 to $183,500.
