Staff Research Engineer, Frontier Data at Turing

Turing is hiring a Research Engineer to advance frontier AI systems through research and engineering. The role involves investigating frontier AI capabilities, designing and running experiments, developing datasets, reinforcement learning environments, evaluation frameworks, and research-grade prototypes, and translating findings into scalable products and platforms. Candidates should have a PhD or master’s degree in a relevant technical field, strong machine learning and programming skills, and research experience in synthetic or agentic data generation, reinforcement learning, post-training, model understanding, evaluation, or benchmarks. Compensation is $250,000 to $400,000 in on-target earnings plus equity.
