Description
Dolby is seeking a Staff AI Researcher for its Multimodal Experiences Lab within the Advanced Technology Group. The role focuses on developing multimodal AI systems for immersive audio-visual experiences, including research direction, AI model development, deep learning and perceptual signal processing, end-to-end research initiatives, technology transfer, production collaboration, strategy influence, and mentoring. Candidates need a relevant PhD or equivalent research experience, at least six years of AI research or industry experience, expertise in multimodal AI or related fields, a record of first-author publications or patents, experience leading cross-team research projects, and proficiency in Python and/or C/C++.
