Description

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Staff Radio Frequency Systems Engineer to support the Systems Engineering Integration and Test team on major development programs. The role focuses on developing and fielding advanced dedicated and multifunction RF subsystems, including requirements definition, algorithm and performance analysis, sensor integration, simulation and hardware-in-the-loop verification, and customer-facing technical leadership. The position is based in Linthicum, Maryland, is 100% on-site, requires a U.S. Secret Clearance and Special Program Access, and is contingent on contract award and clearance transfer. The primary salary range is $169,000 to $253,600.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field; alternatively, a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 8 years of experience, with an additional 4 years of experience potentially substituting for a degree.
Required Previous Experiences: Experience in RF applications, including MATLAB, Python, or C/C++ modeling, tracking, and algorithm development.
Experience developing and implementing novel systems.
Experience in RF applications.
Experience in technical leadership related to RF systems and delivering systems to customers.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
Current or active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance or higher.
Experience mentoring colleagues and improving performance.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
Familiarity with one or more RF sensing modalities and their applications.
