XPENG is hiring a Staff Robotics Engineer / Tech Lead for its US robotics team to develop control and learning-based algorithms for humanoid robot locomotion, whole-body control, motion generation, and sim-to-real deployment. The role also contributes to technical direction, coordinates with simulation, software, hardware, AI, data, and China-based engineering teams, and mentors other engineers. Candidates need a master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field, at least five years of experience in robotics, reinforcement learning, robot learning, or control systems, and familiarity with modern robot-learning methods. The position offers a base salary of $215,280-$364,320 plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
