Boston Dynamics is hiring a Staff Robotics Simulation Engineer, Hardware for its Central Hardware team. The role performs static and dynamic FEA on robotic components, learns CFD and thermal-structural methods, supports physical testing, develops simulation workflows and automation scripts, documents results, and collaborates with mechanical design and manufacturing teams. Candidates need a PhD, MS, or BS in a relevant field with the specified experience levels, FEA and CAD skills, and strong mechanics, dynamics, and thermodynamics knowledge. The position is for candidates eligible to work in the United States and does not offer visa sponsorship; the base pay range is $135,000 to $167,000.
