Description
The University of Chicago's Ovarian Cancer Research Laboratory, led by Drs. Hilary Kenny and Ernst Lengyel, is seeking a Staff Scientist specializing in bottom-up proteomics. The successful candidate will contribute to establishing MS-based plasma proteomic methods for distinguishing benign and malignant ovarian diseases, aiming to identify reliable biomarkers for clinical decision-making. Additionally, they will utilize LC-MS/MS-based spatial proteomics (DVP) to understand the origins, development, and therapeutic responses in ovarian cancer patients. This role involves close collaboration with the Matthias Mann Lab in Munich and integrates within a multidisciplinary translational clinical team.
