CareDx is hiring a Staff Scientist, Molecular Diagnostics R&D to lead sustaining, improvement, and product development efforts for transplant diagnostic assays in its CLIA laboratory. The role provides technical leadership across cross-functional R&D programs, leads assay optimization and analytical validation, drives new product development, and mentors junior scientific personnel. Candidates need a PhD in a relevant life science field, at least 8 years of molecular diagnostic assay development experience, and expertise in gene expression profiling, low-input genomics, NGS, PCR/qPCR, and regulated diagnostic development. The role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with a base salary of $161,000–$201,000 USD.
