Dragos is hiring a Staff Software Development Engineer for its Sensor Platform, a Linux-based network sensor used to capture and process operational technology and industrial control system traffic. The role leads large-scale platform initiatives from design through production, owns complex production and canary issues, establishes engineering standards, translates reliability and latency goals into technical plans, improves observability and developer experience, and mentors engineers. It requires 8+ years of distributed systems experience, deep Rust expertise, systems architecture leadership, and experience with packet capture, Linux systems programming, message queuing, and cybersecurity. The position is remote and offers a $192,000 salary plus equity and benefits.
