Description
Envoy is hiring a Staff Security Engineer to own and evolve its Security Operations and Threat Detection capabilities. The role will define detection and response strategies across cloud infrastructure, applications, and endpoints; improve SIEM and monitoring architecture; implement detection-as-code and automated security controls; lead complex investigations; improve instrumentation and security signal quality; track MTTD and MTTR; and mentor engineers. It is an L5 opportunity requiring 10+ years of security, SRE, or infrastructure engineering experience, with an on-site San Francisco arrangement of four days per week.
