Affirm is hiring a Senior AI Security Engineer to build and operate an end-to-end security review process for enterprise AI/LLM systems. The role covers threat modeling, architecture and data-flow reviews, source-code and configuration audits, security guardrails and tooling, SaaS vendor assessments, AI-specific incident response, and cross-functional governance. Candidates should be seasoned security engineers with AI/LLM security architecture, threat-modeling, agentic-systems, Python, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud experience. The position is remote-first, with USA base pay of $230,000–$290,000 in California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, and $204,000–$264,000 in other U.S. states.
