Affirm is hiring an AI Security Engineer to build and operate an end-to-end security review process for enterprise AI/LLM systems. The role covers threat modeling, architecture and data-flow reviews, source-code and configuration audits, security guardrails and tooling, SaaS vendor assessments, AI-specific incident response, and cross-functional governance. Candidates should be seasoned security engineers with AI/LLM security architecture, threat-modeling, agentic-system, Python, infrastructure-as-code, cloud, and IAM experience. The role is remote-first for eligible Canadian provinces and offers a base pay range of CAD 181,000–241,000 per year, with subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage.
