LinkedIn is hiring a Staff Security Engineer for its Platform & Product Security team to strengthen the security of AI applications, infrastructure, and development workflows. The role leads AI/ML security controls, threat modeling, adversarial red-teaming, secure-by-default architectures, security guardrails for agentic workflows, and scalable vulnerability-detection tooling. It requires a relevant technical degree or equivalent experience, at least five years of security engineering experience, programming experience, and experience architecting vulnerability-mitigation tooling. The position is hybrid in the Sunnyvale office and offers a base salary of $152,000 to $248,000, with potential bonus, stock, and other compensation.
