SK Hynix Memory Solutions is hiring an SSD Firmware QA Engineer to create firmware verification plans, develop and execute white-box, grey-box, and black-box automation tests with Python, and own end-to-end testing across simulation, FPGA prototyping, and prototype SSD hardware. The role also involves root-cause analysis of firmware bugs, code reviews, test reporting, and communication of technical solutions. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and five years of post-baccalaureate experience in SSD firmware testing or development, along with experience in SSD or NAND flash, Python, C/C++, JavaScript, storage protocols, agile and Git workflows, and automated build and continuous-integration systems. The position is onsite in San Jose, California, with a salary of $110,000-$160,000 and medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) benefits.
