General Motors is hiring a Staff Software Architect – Mechatronics Controls Simulation to lead the technical architecture of simulation environments for the Vehicle Body Controls domain. The role owns simulation architecture, CoSim packages, variant and configuration management, behavioral modeling, CI/CD scaling, architecture governance, and alignment with simulation, software, and systems engineering teams. It is a hybrid position requiring at least three reports per week in Markham, Ontario, and requires a bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of relevant experience in embedded software, systems engineering, or controls. The salary range is $147,000 to $196,600, and GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship.
