NetBox Labs is hiring a Staff Software Backend Engineer to technically lead its Foundations platform team. The role owns the architecture and delivery of shared platform services including authentication, access control, secrets management, single sign-on, login, authorization, and tenancy; defines APIs for other engineering teams; sets engineering standards; and leads and mentors the Foundations engineering team. The position requires 7+ years of software development experience, platform or infrastructure ownership, B2B startup or high-growth organization experience, authentication and authorization expertise, Python and Go backend experience, API design experience, Linux and distributed systems knowledge, and the ability to make technical decisions under ambiguity.
