The role involves defining technical requirements, designing and implementing scalable and secure software, leading architecture and code quality, optimizing performance, applying GenAI and AI/ML techniques, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates need a BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, at least 8 years of enterprise application experience, 6+ years building highly scalable distributed Java solutions, extensive microservices and cloud experience, and expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, testing, and AI-assisted coding. The position is based in Toronto with a base pay range of $164,500 to $222,500.
