Zscaler is hiring a Staff Engineer for its Federal and Sovereign Clouds department to design and implement scalable, high-performance backend services and APIs for its cloud security platform. The role focuses on multitenant architecture, distributed systems, code quality, performance optimization, mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and on-call support. Candidates need at least five years of Java or Golang experience, hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and a major cloud platform, and expertise in large-scale distributed systems. The position is hybrid and reports to the Senior Manager, Software Engineering.
