Tekion is hiring a Staff Software Development Test Engineer to lead quality engineering across its cloud-native automotive platform. The role combines senior software engineering expertise with test automation, system design, and quality initiatives, covering front-end, back-end, API, integration, UI, database, and distributed-systems testing. Responsibilities include building automation frameworks, defining test strategies, performing root-cause analysis, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product, engineering, and architecture teams. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field, at least 8 years of relevant experience, strong Core Java and JavaScript/TypeScript skills, and experience with Selenium, Playwright, Postman, SQL, and Agile environments.
