Decagon is hiring a senior software engineer to own the end-to-end design, implementation, evaluation, and scaling of AI agents for complex customer interactions. The role focuses on building reliable, intuitive agents, identifying cross-customer trends, and integrating text and voice models with large enterprise customers. Candidates should have at least eight years of software engineering experience, proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and asynchronous programming, and strong systems-failure debugging skills; prior experience with multimodal models is preferred. The position offers $200,000–$400,000 plus equity and full-time benefits.
