Vanta is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead large technical projects and set technical direction for privacy, AI, and risk-management features in its security platform. The role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and customizable systems using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, while also shaping engineering practices, mentoring teams, and supporting hiring and onboarding. It is remote-first, with London-area engineers expected to work in the office 2–3 days per week and engineers elsewhere in the UK or Ireland expected to travel to London occasionally.
