Hims & Hers is hiring a Staff Software Engineer on its AI team to lead the design and development of scalable backend systems, APIs, platform infrastructure, recommendation engines, and AI-powered healthcare experiences. The role partners with machine learning engineers, integrates models and LLM-powered applications into production workflows, leads cross-team technical initiatives, and mentors engineers. It requires 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong backend and distributed-systems expertise, Python proficiency, and experience with data-intensive applications and production ML or recommendation systems.
