Google Cloud is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers while also making direct technical contributions. The role owns product architecture and implementation strategy, sets technical standards, and collaborates with product, program, engineering, and partner teams. It requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of programming experience in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go, 5 years of software product testing and launch experience, and 3 years of software design and architecture experience. Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree, extensive data structures and algorithms experience, technical leadership experience, and experience in complex matrixed organizations.
