Description
LinkedIn is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead the design and delivery of AI-native systems for its Learning Solutions Engineering organization. The role focuses on agentic workflows, Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, prompt engineering, model and agent evaluation, and technical decisions around LLM infrastructure. The engineer will partner with product, data science, and infrastructure teams, mentor senior and mid-level engineers, and bring relevant advances from the LLM and agent ecosystem. The position requires a BS degree in computer science or a related technical discipline or related practical experience, plus 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years building applied AI/LLM-based systems in production. The work location is hybrid, combining home and LinkedIn office work.
