Alpaca is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for its Middle East operations to architect and establish foundational software systems for financial infrastructure, set technical direction and architectural standards, lead complex multi-team initiatives, coordinate regional infrastructure and cloud deployments, and mentor engineers. The role requires 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, expert-level Go or similar backend expertise, extensive experience with event-driven architectures and cloud infrastructure, and occasional travel within the Middle East.
