Staff Software Engineer supporting ATEC Spine's surgical navigation and robotics platform, responsible for technical leadership, software architecture, development, testing, documentation, and validation of Unix/Linux C++ applications for intra-operative medical devices. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with R&D, marketing, mechanical/electrical/systems teams, and clinical engagement with surgeons to support product development, regulatory approval, and cadaveric lab evaluation. The position requires extensive experience in surgical navigation or equivalent medical devices, FDA-regulated environments, and mission-critical software development.
