Description
Bumble is hiring a Staff Software Engineer in Trust & Safety to set technical direction for large-scale systems that detect, moderate, enforce, verify, and respond to harmful behavior. The role leads distributed-system architecture, cloud-native migrations, shared APIs and standards, AI-assisted engineering, developer platforms, and engineering quality, while partnering with Product, Data Science, Machine Learning, Policy, Legal, and Operations. Candidates should have 8+ years of experience building large-scale backend or distributed systems, expertise in languages such as Go, Kotlin, or Java, and experience with cloud infrastructure, event-driven architectures, and technical leadership across teams.
