Candescent is hiring a Principal Software Engineer specializing in React Native mobile development to lead the design, development, deployment, production support, architecture, and technical guidance of secure, scalable mobile banking applications. The role partners with enterprise architects, product management, UX/UI design, and engineering leads, while also mentoring engineers, establishing reusable patterns, supporting mobile CI/CD and publishing, and using AI-assisted development tools. Candidates need a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 7–10 years of software engineering experience, extensive React Native expertise, and experience across iOS and Android mobile development, secure application development, testing, and distributed engineering environments.
