Checkr is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the integration of a recently acquired background check product into its ecosystem and develop it into a comprehensive identity verification platform. The role owns product development from ideation through release, collaborates on system architecture, and delivers scalable, secure software. It requires 10+ years of software engineering experience, significant Python experience, leadership and mentoring capabilities, AWS, microservices, Kubernetes, REST APIs, CI/CD, and database experience. The position is hybrid in Santiago, Chile, with three days per week in the office, and offers a base salary range of $66,496,000 to $78,230,000 CLP plus medical, dental, and vision coverage.
