Description
CLEAR is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own complex full-stack applications for its secure identity platform, from technical discovery and architecture through deployment and operational support. The role spans multiple technology pillars, influences technical strategy and architectural direction, reduces technical debt, improves platform scalability and security, and mentors engineering teammates. Candidates should have at least 9 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience with Java, Python, React, and/or TypeScript, along with expertise in distributed systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, and CI/CD. The position is based in New York City and offers a total compensation range of $325,000 to $500,000, including base salary, annual bonus, and equity.
