Description
CoMind is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead complex embedded and real-time C++ development for its neuromonitoring medical device. The role owns hardware abstraction, device drivers, data acquisition pipelines, system integration, architecture, technical strategy, code quality, testing, and safety-critical software development under IEC 62304 and ISO 14971. The engineer will also mentor staff, collaborate with electronics and FPGA teams, and communicate architectural decisions to Product, Clinical, and Regulatory stakeholders. The position requires at least 10 years of software engineering experience, modern C++ expertise, embedded Linux and hardware-software integration experience, and familiarity with regulated-industry software standards. The role is based at CoMind’s Kings Cross office with at least four days per week onsite and a flexible work-from-home day.
