Description
Crusoe is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead distributed systems design and development for its Cloud Monitoring Service. The role owns large-scale telemetry pipelines, including high-volume ingestion, stream processing, time-series and log storage, and low-latency query paths, while addressing scalability, reliability, multi-tenancy, and operational excellence. The engineer will set technical direction, collaborate across product, compute, networking, and platform teams, and mentor senior and mid-level engineers. The position requires 8+ years of software development experience, production distributed systems ownership, and familiarity with observability technologies and modern cloud infrastructure; it is full-time and offers compensation of up to $215,000-$260,000 plus bonus and equity.
