The Staff Software Engineer - Platform will grow and build the core platform powering Flowcode 2, owning critical systems end-to-end and contributing to scalable backend services, distributed architecture, observability, performance, and incident response. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, mentoring senior engineers, guiding engineering best practices, and balancing long-term platform investments with immediate business needs. It is based in Soho, New York City, with remote work available, and requires 8+ years of production systems experience, strong backend and distributed-systems expertise, cloud and container experience, and proficiency in modern backend languages.
