Description
Genesys is hiring a Staff Software Engineer, MCP and A2A to build, support, and operate MCP servers and clients, agent-to-agent communication components, and multi-step agentic workflows in production. The role owns reliability, latency, cost, evaluation, observability, security, and debugging across distributed, non-deterministic agent systems, with a virtual office in Portugal. Candidates need at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, hands-on LLM and agent-framework experience, practical MCP or A2A knowledge, systems-design expertise, and proficiency in Java and/or TypeScript/Node.
