Intuit is hiring a Staff Software Engineer for Tax Experiences to lead architectural direction and AI-powered innovation across scalable tax products and platforms. The role spans customer-facing flows, backend calculation and filing systems, high-throughput services, distributed systems, cloud and microservices, test automation, CI/CD, and production AI integrations. The engineer will set technical standards, mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and evaluate AI performance. A BS/MS in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years of enterprise application experience are required, with tax, fintech, or compliance experience preferred. The expected base pay in San Diego is $188,500–$255,000.
